Assessments and Evaluations

All clients who enroll in services through our clinic receive a thorough intake assessment by a clinician.  Clients seeing the psychiatrist also receive an initial psychiatric evaluation to determine whether medications are appropriate and necessary.

Craig Mental Health clinicians are able to perform standard mental health and substance abuse evaluations, generally for the purposes of probation or the courts, but they are sometimes requested by other agencies.  These assessments typically include a thorough interview and minimal use of standardized testing and are different than the full-blown psychological evaluations performed by psychologists.  The results of the assessment can be provided in written report form to the entity making the request.  Please contact our business staff for current rates for these types of assessments.
