Enhanced Outpatient Program for Substance Abuse

Craig Mental Health currently has one Certified Addictions Counselor Level III providing substance abuse services to the community. The majority of these services are provided through our Enhanced Outpatient Program (EOP).  EOP programs are in between traditional outpatient and intensive outpatient in their intensity.  Typically, a participant in our EOP attends between 2 and 5 hours of treatment per week.  Some of this may be individual work, and most will be in a group. 

Our EOP program is based on the Matrix treatment model, an evidence-based model originally developed for cocaine and methamphetamine abusers.  We have found our program to be helpful for people dealing with a variety of addictions. The Early Recovery Skills and RelapsePrevention groups are important components of this program, and we can provide education and support for families as well. Our addiction counselor designs each person's program to best suit their individual needs.
