Women's Recovery

Women's Recovery is a substance abuse treatment group that implements components of the Matrix treatment model (see Enhanced Outpatient Program for Substance Abuse) as well as a curriculum followed in A Woman's Journal. The dual focus on substance abuse issues and women's issues as they relate to successful treatment has resulted in very positive outcomes for the participants in this group. Incentives for reaching ongoing treatment goals provides extra motivation for these participants. This group meets once per week for 12 weeks . 

We have been fortunate in the past to be able to offer this group in conjuncion with the Drug Endangered Children's group, and to provide childcare, a meal during the group, and transportation if needed. Please ask your clinician whether these options are currently available in conjunction with the Women's Recovery group.
